In 2015, the third generation Ford Focus got a facelift. Available in sedan, station-wagon and hatchback forms, the latter 5-door is being pitched as a high-end model. There is a base 1.6-litre 4-cylinder engine mated to a 6-speed dual-clutch automanual, available in the "Ambiente" and "Trend" trim levels. In fact, the sedan and the wagon will only be available in the basic "Ambiente" trim level alongside the hatchback. The hatchback can be had in all trim levels, including "Trend", "Sport" and "Titanium" editions. Only the "Sport" and the "Titanium" get the 2.0-litre direct-injected 4-cylinder "GDI" engine, mated to a 6-speed dual-clutch automanual. While all models in the UAE get the manually-shiftable automatic, some other GCC markets may get a 5-speed manual option as well. In 2015, a new turbocharged 1.5-litre Ecoboost made its way to the lineup. Standard features include four-wheel-independent suspension, power windows, electric mirrors with indicators, keyless entry, cloth upholstery, CD stereo with USB/AUX port, capless fuel filler, 16-inch steel wheels with hubcaps, and a manual a/c. Other features, available on higher models, include 16-inch or 17-inch alloy wheels, keyless start, leather upholstery, dual-zone auto a/c, rain-sensing wipers, auto headlights, "sports" front seats, cruise control with speed limiter, sunroof, Bluetooth, "premium" centre-console storage, fog lights, LED tail lamps, footwell courtesy lights, and an optional park-assist system with parking sensors and the ability to control the steering automatically during parallel-parking. Standard safety features include front and side airbags, as well as ABS, stability control with hill-start assist, and a torque-vectoring system for better handling.
