Dodge Challenger SRT8 2011 gets 6.4-litre V8
While we just about managed to test the 2010 Dodge Challenger SRT8 recently, Chrysler has already released initial info on the 2011 Challenger SRT8, now to be fitted with a 6.4-litre V8.
Replacing the existing 425 hp 6.1-litre V8 is a new 470 hp 6.4-litre V8, offering up 637 Nm of torque as well as 15% to 20% better fuel economy, thanks to variable valve timing and cylinder deactivation.
Dubbed the Challenger SRT8 392, the new model also gets reworked suspension with firmer shocks, a quicker steering ratio and more negative camber for better handling.
The only exterior changes seem to be a new front bumper, supposedly with better aerodynamics for more downforce.
Keep track of changes in the Dodge Challenger buyer guide.

Yaaay!
now they should change the SRT10 engine also… you don’t need 8.4 litres to make 630 HPs!!
