UAE Drift event at Dubai Festival City

Following the cancellation of UAE Drift last weekend due to exceptional circumstances, its organizers are pleased to announce the event will take place on Friday at Dubai Festival City.

The event, which was due to showcase for the first time will now take place on December 17, for one day only. Entry will be free of charge to all spectators.

UAE Drift is organised by JDM Allstars, and features 12 international drifting champions competing over the day on a purpose-built track. It promises to be a day of high-octane action with plenty of wild tyre smoke, engine revving and fun.

“We had problems last week with the shipping of our specialised drifting cars from Europe, and so had to cancel at short notice,” said Niall Gunn, of JDM Allstars. “We apologise to our fans for that, but now we can reveal that the show will go ahead on Friday, December 17 and it will offer just about as much action as they can handle.”

Fans can find UAE Drift outside the Toys ‘R’ Us at Dubai Festival City. Gates open at 2pm on Friday. Admission is free.
