Roush announces 2012 Stage 3 Mustang Hyper-Series

Trying hard to redefine Detroit Muscle, Roush performance has announced an exclusive and unique serial numbered 2012 Roush Stage 3 Mustang Hyper-Series. Only 25 will be made.

Powered by a 2.3-litre Roush charger system; it delivers over 540 hp and 630 Nm of torque. Mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, the specially calibrated suspension lowers the Mustang by almost an inch enabling it to pull over 1G of lateral force on dry skid pads. The exhaust is tuned to deliver a throaty growl.

With a black base colour, the car is available with 288 graphic and paint colour combinations to choose from, including “Mat It Mango”, “Gas It Green”, “Punch It Purple” and “Launch It Lemon”. It comes with two shifter balls that are easily swappable, and a suede-wrapped steering wheel. To take things further, each owner will receive a unique accessories package including Roush apparel and display items.

Covered by a 3-year/60,000-km warranty, the 2012 Roush Stage 3 Mustang Hyper–Series will be available from October 2011 in the States. We don’t expect it to be sold officially in Saudi Arabia, UAE and other GCC countries though we won’t be surprised to see an inspired Mustang Shamal version.
