Dubai gets tow bikes to beat traffic
Dubai is apparently only the fourth city till now to get powerful Honda Goldwing bikes that are fitted to tow a car.
These bikes have been entered into service by Dubai’s Road & Transport Authority (also known as the dreaded RTA). The motorcycle is capable of towing a 2.5 tonne car at 30 kph, enough to move a broken down car from busy roads to avoid traffic jams. It can be called for through Dubai Police.
The RTA is doing a lot of things wrong, but this is a step in the right direction.
