There are so many Porsche 911 variants out there right now, that we didn’t even know yet another one was due. Details of the 2008 Porsche 911 GT2 are out now, whether the German automaker likes it or not.

The GT2 features a 3.6-litre twin-turbo flat-six with 530 hp at 5600 rpm and 684 Nm of torque from 2200 to 4500 rpm. The 0-96 kph is done in 3.6 seconds, while 0-160 kph is finished in 7.1 seconds. Top speed is 326 kph, with a curb weight of 1443 kg. Features include a titanium exhaust, 6-speed manual gearbox and a launch control system.
