Aston Martin Vulcan unveiled in Dubai

Aston Martin unveiled the track-only Vulcan in Dubai recently, which had its world debut maybe just a month ago.

Under the hood, the Vulcan features a naturally aspirated 7.0-litre V12 engine, said to produce more than 800 hp. Power is delivered via a 6-speed sequential shift gearbox.

For the exterior, the car comprises a carbon-fibre monocoque and body constructed by specialists Multimatic, limited-slip differential, magnesium torque tube with carbon-fibre propeller shaft and Brembo racing calipers acting on carbon-ceramic racing disc brakes.

The pushrod suspension with anti-dive geometry is complemented by adjustable dampers and anti-roll bars in the front and rear, driver-adjustable anti-lock braking, and variable traction control.

Before the delivery of the car, customers are given the opportunity to get intensive track training from experienced racing drivers. Vulcan owners will be given track time driving other Aston Martin models such as the V12 Vantage S, One-77 and the Vantage GT4 race car.
