So we got a 2016 Chrysler 300 SRT
Guess what? We’re special. Special enough that Chrysler is offering a car here that is not offered in North America. The 2016 Chrysler 300 SRT is still built there, but will only go on sale in a handful of overseas markets such as South Africa, Australia and Japan as well as all the GCC countries. And we got our hands on a fresh example.
Externally, there are no changes that we can identify without pulling up photos of the old model to compare. The most glaring difference is that, for whatever reason, the car is devoid of Chrysler badging, so the car is identified only as an SRT.
The interior is standard 300C, with the exception of the heavily-bolstered front seats. There’s also a new 8-speed automatic with a rotary-dial gear selector.
Another change, thankfully, is the switch to a space-saver spare wheel, so now the boot finally gets a flat load floor and much more useable space.
The 300 SRT is the more elegant cousin of the Charger SRT and the Challenger SRT 392, but it’s still a brute through and through. More on that in the full review.

I went to see it in the showroom, what a joke, it brand new in the showroom and the carbon fiber trim on the dashboard was falling apart, what a shame, how do you expect me to pay 250 k for it while they put one on display that is falling apart …. no thank you

Commander …
No one said the engine is bad, it is a strong car, and if I dont like it, I was not to go and check at showroom, but the fit and finish of the interior is typical American, which is very bad quality and you feel if you keep the car in the sun here in Middle East for one year, the interior will fall apart

looks outdated by a decade almost..

Isn’t that the point Marc? This car is a callback to Chryslers heyday in the mid to late 50’s when the 300 letter cars ruled the road. The styling to me is just perfect for a big bruiser of a personal muscle car. My wife took one look at it and said “gangster” lol

What’s the difference in the 2016 model compared to the 2015 model year?
