The Ferrari’s V12 grand tourer, the F12 is a monster in its own right. With a 6.3-litre V12 dishing out 730 horses, the F12 is quite a tough act to follow. But the Italian design house, Bengala has pulled it off by going the weight shedding way. Welcome the Caballeria – a carbon-fibre bodied F12 Berlinetta with a limited production run of just 10 cars.

The body of the F12 Berlinetta is the area where Bengala has had all its focus on. The Caballeria takes its inspiration from the Ferrari GT3 race cars. The front fascia is revamped and gets larger intakes, carbon-fibre splitters and a new hood. Air vents on the sides and a massive diffuser at the back gives the Caballeria a proper racer look. The new fan blade alloy design replaces the old wheels. All of the bodywork is crafted from carbon-fibre to bring a decrease in the weight of the car which originally weighs 1630 kgs.

There hasn’t been any announcements on engine modifications by Bengala so they are expected to be unchanged. The stock motor is capable of propelling the F12 from 0-100 kph in 3.1 seconds and onwards to a top speed of 340 kph. The figures should improve as some kilos are scraped off the car with the Bengala modification.

The car remains just a rendering for now but in summer 2017, 10 of them are going into production. Manic performance and exclusivity is guaranteed along with a steep price.
