Mitsubishi Outlander 2010 special version for Japan
The Mitsubishi Outlander underwent a full redesign only a couple of years ago, becoming a competitive compact crossover with an attractive new face. Then designers decided to plaster a Lancer Evo face onto the likeable 4×4’s front-end, and that facelifted version has been launched as a 2010 model in many countries. But the Japanese were not tired of the outgoing Outlander yet, and so Mitsubishi is still offering the older version, alongside an aggressive version of the new face.
The outgoing Outlander will seemingly be offered as a base model in Japan, while the newer version will be called the Outlander Roadest and will have an aggressive body kit as standard, to differentiate the two models. Both will have a 146 hp 2.0-litre engine for the Japanese market.
The outlook for the 2010 Mitsubishi Outlander in the UAE is more vague. At the 2009 Dubai Motor Show this month, the dealer simply displayed the existing older version. A spokesman said it is a 2010 model, and the facelifted one will not be available in the GCC for quite some time, although some have supposedly sighted the new ones in Abu Dhabi.
Keep track of updates in the Mitsubishi Outlander buyer guide.

The new Outlander is here in Abu Dhabi all right; a little overpriced though as it encroaches Pajero money.
