2025 Yangwang U8 previewed in new BYD showroom in Dubai
Al-Futtaim Electric Mobility Company, in partnership with BYD, has officially opened a new showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai. This facility highlights its dedication to advancing electric mobility in the UAE, which aligns with the government’s ambitious target of having over 40,000 electric vehicles (EVs) on the road by 2030.
Location
The new showroom is part of BYD’s “Closer to You” strategy, which aims to provide better accessibility and convenience for customers across Dubai. Located on Sheikh Zayed Road, it offers visitors the chance to explore BYD’s latest lineup of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles.
The showroom claims to have recorded more than 1,000 walk-ins and test-drive bookings in just one month of operation.
Expansion Plans and Green Mobility Push
Al-Futtaim Electric Mobility Company plans to expand its footprint across the UAE. By 2025, the company aims to open additional showrooms and after-sales workshops and introduce mobile van servicing to further support EV adoption and customer convenience. By the end of the year, they expect to cover 90% of the UAE market, with showrooms and service centres in all Emirates.
Since Al-Futtaim’s partnership with BYD, the company has sold 2,000 vehicle sales and had 5,000 showroom visits at its Dubai Festival City location alone.
