Chrysler 300C 2013 Overview
The redesigned-for-2011 Chrysler 300C looks similar to the old model, and still uses a lot of the same underpinnings, but in reality has many major changes, including a sharper-sloping windshield and a lower belt-line for better visibility. The new 300C thankfully remains rear-wheel-drive and features updated suspension, upgraded engine and a much nicer interior. The new 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 version, mated to an 8-speed automatic with manual capability, debuted in 2012. The base model gets cruise control, cloth upholstery, 18-inch alloy wheels, 6-speaker CD/MP3 stereo with 4.3-inch touchscreen and USB port, auto headlights, intelligent keyless entry and other standard features. Higher trim levels additionally come with an 8.4-inch touchscreen, stereo amplifier, auto a/c with rear vents, power seats, heated/cooled cup-holders, leather, remote start, Bluetooth, HID headlights, sunroof and more. The 5.7-litre Hemi V8 model, with a 5-speed automatic with manual capability, comes in three trim levels. Standard features include cruise control, 18-inch alloy wheels with optional 20-inch wheels, CD/MP3 stereo with touchscreen and USB port, auto headlights, intelligent keyless entry with starter button. Other available features, depending on trim level, includes an 8.4-inch touchscreen, stereo amplifier, auto a/c with rear vents, power seats, heated/cooled cup-holders, leather, remote start, Bluetooth, HID headlights, sunroof and more. The top model, the 300C SRT8, was released in 2012 with a 6.4-litre V8 mated to a 5-speed automatic. Standard SRT8 features include leather upholstery, UConnect multimedia system with touchscreen, 20-inch wheels, rear spoiler and more, along with a unique exterior kit. Standard safety features include front, side and curtain airbags, ABS, stability control, tyre pressure monitor and optional adaptive cruise control with auto braking.
