An all-new model of the Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class came out in 2019. In the GCC, only the GLE 450 is currently available. Under the hood, it gets a 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-6 cylinder engine with EQ boost technology. Power is delivered via a 9-speed automatic transmission. Available features include adjustable air suspension, adaptive cruise control and active parking assist. The exterior features HID headlights, LED running maps and a choice of 19-inch or 20-inch alloy wheels. The revamped 5-seater interior offers, depending on trim level, leather upholstery, wood trim, mood lighting, Harmon-Kardon Logic7 surround sound, HDD navigation, optional panoramic sunroof, rear entertainment system, optional keyless start, optional ventilated power front seats and a split-folding rear seat. Safety features include nine airbags, stability control, ABS and drowsiness monitor, with options such as a rear view camera with parking sensors, active lane assist, blind-spot monitor and automatic pre-crash braking. An AMG package is optional, and it adds a body kit and sportier suspension.
