Lotus Exige 2021 Overview

The Lotus Exige is a little sports coupe with a Toyota-sourced supercharged 3.5-litre V6 engine. It gets go-kart handling, thanks to its light weight as well as its aerodynamics and aluminium chassis. In 2017, the Exige Sport 350 was introduced with better handling and slight visual upgrades. It is only available with a 6-speed manual gearbox, as a well as a 6-speed automatic. In 2021, the Exige 410 20th Anniversary made its debut in the Middle East, mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Also in 2021, the Exige Cup 430 was released, with also a 6-speed manual. Standard features for the GCC include leather seats, plain black leather sun-visors, lightweight aluminium foot-well divider, black leather steering wheel, black leather gear lever gaiter, polished aluminium gear-knob and hand brake sleeve, radio and single CD/MP3 player with 4 speakers, immobiliser with remote activated alarm and central door locking. There are two new interior package options available: Premium and Premium Sport. The Premium Pack provides added comfort and style where as the Premium Sport option focuses on creating an internal space optimised for ultimate driver involvement. Built for the adrenalin hungry sportscar aficionado, the Lotus Exige S features high performance bespoke tyre package with Pirelli P-Zero Corsa tyres as standard. A Lotus DPM (Dynamic Performance Management) switch allows the driver to switch between three driving modes: Touring, Sport and DPM off. And if three dynamic settings are not enough, an additional Race Pack option is available which adds a fourth driving mode setting: Race. This setting provides the maximum possible traction out of corners. The Race Pack also features Launch Control and an optimised suspension setting making the car perfect for letting rip on the track. Safety features for the Exige include driver and passenger front airbags, traction control system (TCS) and torque-sensing limited slip differential.
