Audi Q5 2009 UAE Prices & Specs

The new Audi Q5 is the smallest offering in the German manufacturer's limited SUV range, peddling its entry in the compact luxury 4WD field. The Q5 is available in the GCC with either a 2.0-litre turbocharged FSI 4-cylinder or a 3.2-litre FSI V6, both lifted from other VW products. Both versions come standard with an 'S-tronic' 7-speed dual-clutch automanual transmission. Also standard is Audi's Quattro all-wheel-drive system, and will be available with the Audi 'Drive-Select' system to change its settings. Features include LED running lights and taillights, alloy wheels of up to 20 inches in size, seating for five with folding rear bench and a foldable front seat, and the usual power accessories. The Q5 will be available in several different trim options, including an 'S-Line' trim option with aggressive body mouldings and mesh foglight grills, while a faux 'Offroad' exterior package includes front and rear underbody protection panels, along with flared fender and door sill protection. Other available features, whether standard or optional, include a roof load sensor to adjust the stability control for the higher centre of gravity, rearview camera, navigation, high-beam assistant that automatically switches between the high and low beams, blind-spot monitor, adaptive cruise control, triple-zone climate control, intelligent keyless entry, electric parking brake, multiple airbags, MMI multimedia with speech control system, Bluetooth telephone, a DVD drive and TV tuner, an iPod interface and MP3 capability.
