The Hyundai Santa Fe was redesigned in 2007 and mildly facelift in 2010. The real changes were under the bonnet, with a pair of 2.4-litre 4-cylinder and 3.5-litre V6 engines replacing the old 2.7-litre V6. Both motors are mated to a 6-speed automatic and all-wheel-drive. The basic 4-cylinder model comes with third-row seating, power windows, cruise control, roof rack with crossbar, fake wood trim, keyless entry, fog lamps, CD/MP3 stereo with 4 speakers and 2 tweeters, AUX/USB ports with iPod cable, manual a/c with rear vents, 18-inch alloy wheels, four-wheel-disc brakes with ABS, and only one airbag. The mid-range model additionally gets the V6 engine along with intelligent keyless entry with starter button, dual-zone auto a/c, subwoofer, "solar" glass, "supervision" gauges, automatic HID headlights, cruise control, sunroof, power front seats, rear parking sensors and camera, leather upholstery, "conversation" cabin mirror, cool box, rear spoiler and headlamp washers, as well as dual front airbags, stability control and active headrests. The top V6 model also gets navigation, trip computer and a full set of six airbags, including side-curtain airbags.
