Ferrari plans to go green with goofy car

Details have emerged regarding Ferrari’s new eco-friendly concept vehicle, the FXX Mille Chile. Ferrari has decided to develop new technologies in order to comply with future regulations and an early fruit of that labour is this wood-built non-working concept.

New technologies to be introduced to the public include active aerodynamics, a new type of hybrid drivetrain, adjustable steering wheel and pedal placement and high-tech carbon fibre construction, along with low rolling-resistance tyres and ceramic composite brakes. Along with time to develop these ideas, Ferrari also needs to work on a design that looks like something more than just a squished Ferrari Enzo.
