Fiat 500 goes on sale in Europe

For Europeans eagerly anticipating the new Fiat 500, the car made its debut last week on the 50th anniversary of the original Nuova 500. The new-age version goes on sale immediately and pays homage to its predecessor in glorious retro style. The little Polish-built 3-door will bow with a 75 hp 1.3-litre turbodiesel, a 69 hp 1.2-litre four, and a 100 hp 1.4-litre four.

Contrary to what some local magazines (who just lift articles off British rags) are inaccurately hinting at, the car is not coming to the Middle East. We can’t even confirm if Fiat even exists around here any more.
