2009 Ford Kuga to debut at Geneva show
Ford will be pulling the wraps off its first crossover 4WD in Europe next month in Geneva. Based on a previous concept, the Kuga is what the GCC would’ve got here if that niche wasn’t filled in by the Escape.
The Kuga is based off the Focus platform, and the only engine currently announced is Ford’s 2.0-litre Duratorq TDCi common-rail diesel, with 136 hp and 320 Nm of torque, in front-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive form. The Kuga comes standard with ESP, Anti Rollover Mitigation, ABS and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution.
Inside, the handsomely-outfitted cabin offers seating for five and a 60/40 split rear seat.
