   They dont sell it with a V6 because toyota has no imagination hence they brought out the Aurion which is essentially the camry with a V6.So if they bring in the V6 it might take sales away from this..They have the V6 option in the US since as far as i know they dont get the Aurion..Not too sure on this tho..

   Hate the rear lights….Never liked this car…maybe the new engine upgrades will make it a bit more exciting…though being a camry…I highly doubt it…

   169 hp for a 2.5L isn’t impressive compared to the 2.5L Altima..however, the SE is the one that will be pit against the altima and accord for performance anyway. 179hp with sports suspensions and 17 inchers sounds like a good competition.

    hmm, heard people saying this since years, but same old story in dubai, Toyota, Nissan, Honda followed by others, some models from other manufacturers making marks here and there but nothing new. Those who buy BMW, Merc, Lexus and Infinity & Range Rovers will be least bothered. They have money in pocket, resale or no resale.

    Well camry is the most reliable vehicle here in dubai, otherwise you wont see lot many taxi camrys , also seen n the new altima taxi ‘s these days guess the only vehicle you wont see as a taxi is the accord!

    yes, sonatas are better for taxi drivers ,they might take more holidays due to their cars maintenance issues, than those taxi drivers who use camrys.

    @xander – the new accord’s power is rated @ 178 hp…but the point is, only the SE has 179 hp while the standard models have the engine detuned to 169 hp; guess Toyota is only becoming more and more stupid!! And if speed is the issue here, then the new Altima and the new Mazda 6 kills both while the 2.3L Ford Mondeo easily catches up with both! And talking about Camry’s reliability; the old camry used to be one of the best in that case while the new Camry seems to have both quality and reliability problems. The very taxi drivers who drive the new camrys are saying this.

    the new Camry 08 as far as i know has 159 hp gross 169 may be net hp toyota are good car for old PEOpLe because they need to HAve comfort of there oLD sofas every where…that’s why its no 1 selLer in the World

    ^^^^ I was talking about the 2010 camry..and the ’08 Camry is rated at 159hp net…by the way, net figures will always be lower than the gross figures since it is after calculating the power loss through the drivetrain while the gross power indicates the raw power of the engine. However, it is still the old man’s car, as cayanide said 😆

    Accord alwayzz sucks…look 2009 accord, it has very poor shape…too big…dull styling…..camry always rocks that’s why it is the best selling car all around the world

    yes.. camry has a great interior…Any one should try to drive accord and camry.I drive both accord and camry…accord is more faster then camry but camry is so smooth, very good handling and reliable…I dont like accord specially for the high way….camry is also good for drifting..:) camry won 🙂

    😎 Would have to agrea with most of you around the world who finds Toyota’s line up to be lacking power and excitement. As for styling and reliability Camry has always been great for a daily driver and also resale value. Being that I work at A Toyota Dealership, we just took delivery of th 2010 V-6 6speed manual trans…WOW!! Screw Accord amd Altima,I wouldnt have said that a year ago. Interesting points of view from everyone!! 😀

    Just traded my 07 Camry LE V6. Not an ounce of troble with that car. Was looking at the Caddy CTS $45,000 but it rode horrible. Went and bought a 2010 Camry LE V6. This car has good looks, great quality and value. Cost to own the 07 Camry was $2800 per year for 3 years (paid cash). Try doing that with a Lincoln or a Caddy.

    my uncle has the new Camart v6.

    The Camary looks cool but there is alot of it in the road makes it not. I think the Camary looks better than the Altima.

    Toyota is still a reliable brand but it not as reliable as it used to be.

    I think CAMRY SE has an extra ordinary looks..SE looks more better than accord and altima.However camry GL is not look better than accord..CAMRY SE has an sporty look 🙂

    Camry does not come with six air bags!! Any reasons? Is it because Camry is anyway being used only for Taxis or is there any other reasons?

    I checked with dealers today , The 2010 model is still with 2.4 engine,5A gear. the changes are:
    1-grill slightly
    2-Blue tooth shifted on the steering
    3-wheels biger
    4-brake light new look
    5-removable holders

    The Aurion car has launched instead of Creseda. So that there is no match of Camery with Aurion and Accord. These cars are good but no match with Camery, dear all Camery is camery and please don’t match it with other cars, camery is reliable and much competent than the other one.

    i put 123000 km on my 2007 camry hybrid after this i can tell you that its a wonderful Roomy rigid luxury car v6 acceleration fuel efficient (44.3 mpg hwy when cruise control 120km, 34 city) its reliable all replacement are breaks once and the water pumb no thing bad, although the bad roads i drive on the car still give superior ride quality,i am thinking now in lexus rx 450 hybrid.

    I am driving Camry for last 3 years continuously for average 300km per day. I am feeling more comfortable and smooth driving especilly in highways. Also I have not experienced any major issues.
