Dodge Charger 2011 first info released
First photos and information about the updated 2011 Dodge Charger has been released, including a police version that will debut in the next The Fast and The Furious movie.
The 2011 Charger will be available with a 292 hp 3.6-litre V6 in SE and Rallye trims, while the 370 hp 5.7-litre finds its way under the bonnet of the R/T version. All model retain the outgoing model’s rear-wheel-drive platform, but the R/T will also have optional all-wheel-drive. A 6.4-litre V8-powered SRT8 model comes much later.
Features include a completely new exterior, even though it looks similar to the existing model, with a reshaped front end, redone body shape and a rear featuring 164 LEDs. Other items include standard Keyless Enter-N-Go and Electronic Stability Control with Ready-alert Braking and Rainy Day Brake Support, optional adaptive-cruise control with forward-collision warning, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross path detection, ParkView rear back-up camera with grid lines, UConnect multimedia and Garmin navigation.
The U.S. release will be in the winter of 2010, so expect a UAE and GCC-wide release by early 2011.

Awesome looks and a much needed upgrade on the engine. If priced well, this could sell a lot, much more than it was doing at present.

The subtle upgrades around the front and sides do make it look meaner and lower. The back-end design complete’s the sportier look. Those lights look expensive to replace though…

^ sorry for the use of misinformation but lots of mercedes components are added to its LX platform which is a platform derived from the previous FWD LH platform.

this is simply made for it got speed,looks and got four doors but question is does it got sunroof? cr8/lumina ss disappointed by not havin a sunroof!!!
