2013 BMW Alpina B3 Bi-Turbo set for Geneva Motor Show
The 2013 Alpina B3 Bi-Turbo, based on the new BMW 3-Series F30 model, debuted at the Geneva Motor Show this week.
Alpina has tweaked the twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre inline 6-cylinder engine to produce a massive 410 hp, while torque jumps to nearly 600 Nm, and is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. This will send the B3 Bi-Turbo from 0-100 kph in 4.2 seconds and gives it a top speed of 306 kph. Fuel economy is rated at a combined 7.59 l/100 km.
Alpina also plans to launch an all-wheel-drive model of the B3 Bi-Turbo soon.
Expect the new BMW Alpina B3 Bi-Turbo to hit select showrooms in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries by the end of the year.
