New Ferrari 458 Speciale is a striped beauty

2014 Ferrari 458 Speciale
The 458 is clearly the prettiest Ferrari in the market, and it’s been further enhanced with a stripe. Or that’s what is visible from the outside. But the 458 Speciale is clearly a special offspring from the Italian supercar maker’s stables, and it made its official debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show a few weeks back.

The new 458 Speciale turns up with an amazing 596 hp and 540 Nm of torque from the same 4.5-litre V8 which churned out 570 hp in its first incarnation. The power bump enables the striped stallion to go from 0-100 kph in just three seconds!

The feat is further complemented by the fact that the Ferrari stands at a mere 1290 kgs, which rides on the grippy Michelin Pilot Sport Cup2 tires. There’s no word on sales yet, but we just know it’s going to make its way to the UAE, Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries’ showrooms as soon as it is officially made available for purchase.
