All-new Cadillac CTS-V 2016 revealed
General Motors has revealed the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V, the top performance version of their midsize sedan offering.
The 2016 CTS-V is powered by a supercharged 6.2-litre “LT4” V8 making 640 hp and 853 Nm of torque, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. A manual gearbox option is not offered any more.
Other features on this rear-wheel-drive sedan include the “Magnetic Ride Control” active damping system, Brembo brake package, 19-inch alloy wheels, Recaro seats, launch control, data recorder, CUE infotainment with navigation and Bose audio, and an optional carbon-fibre bonnet with aero add-ons.
The CTS-V will hit showrooms late in 2015, and will officially debut at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show a few weeks from now. Pricing has yet to be announced, but expect something north of Dhs 300,000 in the UAE.
