Hennessey’s Dodge Charger Hellcat upgraded to 852 hp
For people out there who think the Dodge Charger Hellcat’s 707 hp isn’t enough, Hennessey has come up with HPE850 package, which boosts power up to 852 hp. The same package was released last month for the Challenger Hellcat as well.
To get the power boost, the supercharged 6.2-litre V8 engine has been equipped with a port-matched throttle body, an upgraded lower pulley that increases boost to 1-2 psi and a less-restrictive air filter. Along with that, Hennessey also installs a new ECU with upgraded tuning software, and a ported supercharger housing.
Few updates for the Hennessey Hellcat interiors include embroidered headrests, an individually-numbered plaque and Hennessey exterior badging.

As much as I’m not a fan of huge engined supercharged muscle cars that are fast only in a straight line (with few exceptions such as the new Z06 ‘vette and Z28 Camaro), I can’t deny that this car probably offers the best overall value for its price in terms of refinement and performance. Good job Dodge.
