2017 Jaguar F-Type SVR leaked online
Pictures and details of the new Jaguar F-Type SVR has made its way to the internet.
Dutch publication Autovisie got hold of a brochure which shows off the F-Type SVR’s new front bumper with larger air intakes. It also has a front splitter, hood scoops, a new retractable rear wing, titanium exhaust system and 20-inch alloy wheels.
The interior remains mostly unchanged, but with a new sports steering wheel, brushed aluminium trim and performance seats.
Under the hood, it gets the supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine, which produces about 575 hp and 699 Nm of torque. Power is delivered via an 8-speed automatic transmission and along with the all-wheel drive system, helps nail down a 0-100 kph time of 3.7 seconds and hit a top speed of 322 kph. The convertible also offers similar performance, but with a lower top speed of 312 kph.
Performance upgrades include a high-performance braking system, an electronic rear-differential, and a sport-tuned suspension with adaptive dampers.
The Jaguar F-Type SVR will probably make its way to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman and other GCC markets before the end of the year.
