The 2016 New York Auto Show is playing host to the world debut of the all-new 2017 Kia Cadenza. The new model improves on its predecessor with a nicer cabin, better connectivity and driver assistance tech, a stronger body structure, and powertrain enhancements for a “more premium experience” behind the wheel.
We’ve driven the 2006 Range Rover. We’ve driven the 2010 Range Rover. Heck, we own a 2005 Range Rover. We’ve also driven all the smaller iterations of the Range Rover that have cropped up in the past decade, namely the Sport and the Evoque. A dealer conference held in Europe by Suzuki was the source of a leak about the new Suzuki Swift bound for a 2017 launch. The sporty little hatchback was released in 2005 and was revamped completely in 2011. After munching through 5 years of success with the new model, the Swift is starting to show its age. The mild facelift in 2015 couldn’t help it much, so the time is ripe to introduce a new version.
In this day and age, when cars are inundated with high-end electronic driving aids, the Toyota GT 86 harks back to the old age of motoring. With a low-mounted boxer engine, manual gearbox and rear wheel drive, the masses loved it in all its guises — the 86 in Asia, the GT 86 in Europe, the Scion FRS in America, or the Subaru BRZ everywhere. Now for 2017, Toyota have given it a refresh, right after killing off their America-specific Scion brand.

Ford is one of the few carmakers that generally treats us with a bit of respect. It’s something that’s hard to come by in this industry when you’re too honest for your own good. So when they asked us to run this 2016 Ford Figo Hatchback, we begrudgingly accepted. We can’t be fooling around in Mustangs every week. Our reluctance may have been so obvious that even the Ford spokesperson who delivered the car to us may have noticed. When we sat in the car, the first things that hit us were the hard plastics and the cheap headliner,
