So we got a 2017 Lincoln MKZ 3.0T
Lincoln is redoing their corporate face yet again, starting with the new Continental flagship sedan. The second model to get the brand’s new grille treatment is the MKZ midsizer. Tacked on as a facelift to the existing model, there are more changes than meets the eye.
The front end now sports a Continental-like face, while the rest of the chiselled shape carries over from the outgoing version.
Inside, it’s generally the same as the old one, but it now comes with Ford’s SYNC 3 multimedia interface, easier to use than any of the previous versions. And we didn’t even know the MKZ offered such an extravagant sunroof.

The bigger news is that there’s a monster of a turbo V6 under the bonnet, mated to an all-wheel-drive system to make a rocket in sheep’s clothing. More on that in the full review.

Some more than necessary hard plastic can be seen inside the car. Doesn’t really convince it as a flagship vehicle.
