Rezvani Tank is a 500 hp military-grade SUV

For those who are not excited by the regular SUVs, Rezvani Motors from California presents a military-grade SUV called the Tank. Though this SUV takes design inspirations from the machines that prowl the battlefield, it looks a lot more futuristic.

The front end is dominated by a sculpted bumper, bulging fenders and a hood with deep creases carved out of it. An LED bar is placed on the roof for better illumination of the unlit off-road trails the Rezvani Tank is equipped to beat. The interior, on the other hand, is more luxuriously appointed with leather and Suede. A 7.9-inch infotainment system with google maps, Pandora, Stitcher and more is offered along with a heads-up display.

The firepower for the Rezvani Tank comes from a massive 6.4-litre V8 pumping out 500 hp and 583 Nm. The Tank offers an optional ballistic armour package that includes Kevlar armour, run-flat tyres, bulletproof glass and added protection around the fuel tank, radiator, and floor pan.

In order to add more off-road prowess, there is an Off-Road Extreme Package that adds a Dynatrac ProRock XD60/80 axle set with air lockers and an air compressor. Dynatrac ProGrip brakes and Fox 2.5-inch Internal Bypass Shocks with Dual Speed Compression tech are also added to the package.

The Rezvani Tank starts from US$ 178,500 (or about Dhs 656,000). Orders are open now and the deliveries are expected to start before the end of the year. It was displayed at the SEMA 2017 show.
