2019 Hyundai Santa Fe revealed

Hyundai has just launched the all-new 2019 Santa Fe. The new generation Santa Fe adopts the company’s new signature design language that was showcased on the Kona crossover. Apart from the exterior change, the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe comes with several new features and a bunch of new powertrains.

The front fascia of the Santa Fe reminds us of the recently revealed Kona crossover. The ‘Cascading Grill’ is highlighted by the squinted LED headlights and DRLs. The front grille features a diamond design and at the rear, it gets new design taillights.

Inside, Hyundai has worked to liberate more room at the second row as well as the boot. The 2019 Santa Fe also promises better visibility than the outgoing model. There is a 7-inch screen available as standard which can be swapped for AVN 5.0 Nav Screen setup with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on higher models. There is wireless charging for your electronic devices.

Safety systems are offered in plenty with the new Santa Fe. Rear-Cross Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist, Blind Spot assist, Safe exit assist etc are just some of the safety gimmicks that are offered by Hyundai in this car.

Under the hood, the base model sports a 2.4-litre GDi unit that produces 185 hp. The higher models will get a 2.0-litre turbo 4-cylinder unit that churns out 235 hp. A 200 hp turbodiesel will also be offered in the US industry.

The 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe should arrive in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and other GCC showrooms near the end of the year.
