2020 Kia Cadenza facelift revealed
The Kia Cadenza, or the K7 as known in South Korea, has recently gone through a mid-life facelift for the 2020 model year.
The front has been thoroughly reworked. It gets sleeker headlights with new LED DRLs, and turn indicators wrap the sides of the redesigned tiger-nose grill creating a “Z” pattern at the sides. The”ice-cube” fog lights of the current Cadenza can’t be seen here.
At the rear, the new taillights now meet each other on the boot lid via a red bar which houses intricate light patterns. Two long chrome bars run the width of the car, one under the tail lights and the other on the lower part of the bumper. The dual exhaust outlets are just for show though.
The interior looks more upscale and almost entirely new. A wider 12.3-inch infotainment system sits on the center console and the air vents are placed right below it. The instrument cluster is also a purely digital unit, measuring 12.3-inches.
The K7 is offered with 2.5-litre and 3.0-litre petrol engines but in the UAE, KSA and GCC, we expect the same engines to be carried over from the current Cadenza model.
