2023 Lexus RC and RC F gets a number of updates
Lexus RC and RC F enter the new year in their home market with a few updates to improve handling and safety.
The adaptive suspension of the 2023 Lexus RC and RC F gets revisions in the form of better tuning. This improves handling and reduces body roll. The electric power steering also gets improvements in the same area. To better things further, the wheels are no longer attached by nuts. Instead, they use hub bolts with washers, which reduces unsprung mass. The RC F also gets exclusive tweaks for the automatic transmission for a more comfortable ride.
On the 2023 Lexus RC F Sport, new Enkei wheels improve the aesthetics with a black finish and unique design. The faster 2023 Lexus RC F gets two new wheel options from BBS. Both sport the same design, but while one gets a gloss black and metallic finish, the other receives a machined metal and matte black look.
On the tech front, the 2023 Lexus RC and RC F get an improved camera and millimetre-wave radar. This can detect more obstacles on the road. The driving assistance system also adds emergency steering assistance, lane-keep assist, and road sign recognition. The 2023 models also gain the new 10.3-inch infotainment system from the new IS. The RC F also gets an electric parking brake and an auto-hold function.
The 2023 Lexus RC and RC F give the coupes the long-due update. Keep in mind that these are now exclusive to Japan. We will have to wait and see how many updates make their way into our markets.
