2024 Range Rover Velar gets a nip and tuck to stay fresh
The Range Rover Velar stylishly plugs the gap between the Evoque and the Range Rover Sport, and for 2024, it gets a neat little refresh.
The styling of the Velar has not raised any eyebrows to date, so the facelift messes with none of it. So, the only bits that get changes include the headlamps, front grill, and rear bumper.
Inside, though, the 2024 Range Rover Velar gets a new 11.4-inch “floating” curved screen, similar to its big siblings. This screen serves as an interface to the Pivi Pro infotainment system, which supports wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, over-the-air updates, and more.
There are not a lot of changes in the engine department, though. The base P250 model still gets a 2.0-litre engine with a turbo strapped on it, making it good enough for 247 hp. This brings a new eight-speed automatic transmission that delivers power to an all-wheel-drive system, which comes standard. The P400 model gets a 3.0-litre inline-six engine with a mild-hybrid system, churning out 395 hp.
