First Look: 2025 Jaecoo J7 in the UAE

The Jaecoo J7 is set to be the latest Chinese SUV to launch in the UAE and the Middle East. Combining a 1.6-litre turbo engine with sleek looks, the J7 hopes to gain traction in the ultra-competitive compact SUV segment.
Jaecoo is part of the Chery group. Along with Omoda, it was launched primarily to export to Europe, Russia, Malaysia, the Middle East, South Africa and Chile. The Jaecoo J7 was the first model sold in Russia in 2023.
At the heart of the Jaecoo J7 lies a 1.6-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. This powerplant generates an impressive 195 hp and 290 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT).
One of the standout features of the Jaecoo J7 is the ARDIS (All-Road Drive Intelligent System). This advanced system optimizes traction and stability across various driving conditions, making it a versatile choice for different terrains. Whether you are navigating city streets or venturing off-road, ARDIS ensures you remain in control.
