First Look: 2024 Changan CS75 Plus
First introduced in 2022, the Changan CS75 Plus recently received a minor facelift and some new features for the 2024 model. The CS75 Plus is in a very competitive segment, probably the most competitive segment. Every major brand offers a compact SUV, which the Japanese and Korean brands have a stronghold on.
The CS75 Plus entered the market strongly, with loads of features, back in 2022 and gained traction quickly with its competitive pricing.
Exterior
The 2024 CS75 Plus’s exterior gets some changes. The main update is the front grille, which has increased in size. The honeycomb grille is gone, replaced with diagonal lines. The headlights and front bumper have also been redesigned.
Looking at it from the side, things are pretty much similar, with just the new 10-spoke design 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped with 225/55. The rear has been updated as well, with the taillights running across the tailgate.
Only the “Sport” trim is available in the UAE, so it has red accents on the front bumper and side skirt, a red S badge on the front grille, and a quad-exhaust system at the back.
Other exterior features include a panoramic sunroof, roof rack, electric folding mirrors and a powered tailgate.
Interior
The interior gets many more changes. The two-tone leather interior features black and red colours. The steering wheel has been updated, with a different design for the middle part and buttons. The size of the digital instrument cluster screen has increased, making it much more customisable now, and the infotainment system gets a 12-inch display.
The rotary dial design next to the gear lever has also changed, and it does look more modern. Another significant change is separating the engine start/stop button and the climate controls, which used to be next to each other. The climate control buttons also work much better now.
The climate control is decent, with a 2-zone A/C with rear vents, and the CS75 Plus has front-ventilated seats, which are always welcome in this part of the world. The driver seat gets 6-way power with memory, while the front passenger seat gets 4-way power.
The CS75 Plus’s Sony sound system has 8 speakers. Other interior features include 3 USB ports, a mirror link for your phone, Bluetooth, navigation, and a head-up display.
Changan CS75 Plus engine specs
Things remain the same under the hood. The Changan CS75 Plus gets a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged engine mated to an 8-speed ASIN automatic transmission. This motor produces 233 hp and 390 Nm of torque.
The CS75 Plus is available only in front-wheel-drive.
Safety
The CS75 Plus’s Park Assist helps you park the car when you are in the driver’s seat. The system also lets you pull out of or enter a parking space outside the car using your remote key. This is especially useful in tight spaces where someone would have difficulty getting in or out of the vehicle.
Safety features include driver, passenger, side, and curtain airbags. There are also front and rear parking sensors and a 360-degree camera view.
The lane departure warning, blind spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, front collision alarm, adaptive cruise control, and auto emergency braking are also included.
Changan CS75 Plus UAE price
The Changan CS75 Plus is only available in the full-option Sport trim, which costs AED 115,500, including VAT, and comes with a 6-year/250,000 km warranty.
