First Look: 2025 Audi Q6 E-tron

Audi has announced the launch of the Audi Q6 e-tron 2025 in the UAE and the rest of the Middle East, expanding its electric vehicle lineup. The vehicle is built on the “Premium Platform Electric (PPE)” architecture, which was developed in collaboration with Porsche. This architecture, also found in the upcoming Porsche Macan EV, allows Audi to roll out high-volume electric models.

Dimensions and Design

In terms of size, the Q6 e-tron measures 4,771 mm long, 1,993 mm wide, and 1,648 mm high, with a generous 2,899 mm wheelbase. Compared to the petrol-powered Q5, it’s longer, wider, and has a stretched wheelbase, offering more cabin space. Boot space is measured at 5,26 litres, expandable to 1,529 litres with the rear seats folded.

The exterior is sleek and modern, with a closed-off front grille, aggressive air intakes, and sharp crease lines along the body. Audi introduces its latest split LED headlights with the “world’s first active digital light signature,” offering customisable lighting effects. At the rear, OLED tail-lights feature 360 segments that change their pattern every 10 milliseconds.

Audi Q6 e-tron Powertrain and Performance

The standard Q6 e-tron has a dual-motor setup. It generates 382 hp and can go from 0 to 100 kph in 5.9 seconds. Its top speed is 210 kph.

Range and Charging

The Q6 e-tron and SQ6 e-tron come with a 100 kWh battery pack, offering an impressive range of up to 625 km. Thanks to Audi’s 800-volt architecture, the battery supports 270 kW DC fast charging, allowing it to charge from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes.

In a pinch, a quick 10-minute charge can provide over 265 km of range. The Q6 e-tron also supports bank charging, automatically splitting the battery into two for parallel charging at up to 135 kW each.

Interior and Technology

Inside, the Q6 e-tron showcases Audi’s new “Digital Stage” interior concept. A curved panel houses an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.5-inch central touchscreen. The 10.9-inch passenger display comes with Active Privacy Mode, shielding it from the driver’s view.

An augmented reality head-up display is available, while an optional Bang & Olufsen sound system enhances the cabin’s audio experience.

The Q6 e-tron is equipped with a host of safety and driver-assistance systems, including:
