RIDDARA RD6 Electric Pickup Launched in the UAE

AGMC, the UAE’s official distributor for RIDDARA vehicles, has unveiled the RIDDARA RD6, the brand’s first fully electric 4×4 pickup truck. 

This launch marks the debut of RIDDARA, a 100% electric pickup truck brand under Geely Holding Group, in the UAE market. The announcement follows AGMC’s recent agreement with RIDDARA, which expands its lineup of electric vehicles across the region.

Sustainable Mobility

At the launch event, Dr Andreas Schaaf, CEO of Geely Group Brands at AGMC, highlighted the RD6’s importance to the UAE market: “The RIDDARA RD6 represents an exciting milestone in our partnership with RIDDARA. With its blend of practicality, performance, and affordability, the RD6 redefines the electric pickup truck category for the UAE. Our commitment to introducing innovative and sustainable vehicles makes the RD6 a perfect fit for our lineup.”

RIDDARA Built for Off-Road

 Built on Geely’s M.A.P. (Multiple Attached Platform) electric truck architecture, the RD6 offers decent performance and good utility features:

• Performance: With 422hp and 585Nm torque, the RD6 accelerates from 0 to 100 kph in just 4.5 seconds.
• Long Range: The RD6 provides a range of up to 455 km (NEDC).
• Utility: The RD6’s spacious 1,200L rear bed, 865 kg payload, and a battery that can power 12V and 24V devices make it ideal for outdoor enthusiasts.
• Hot Weather Tested: Rigorously tested in the UAE’s summer heat, RIDDARA proves the RD6’s systems are durable in extreme climates.

Interior Comfort

The RD6’s interior combines practicality with premium features:

• A 14.6-inch touchscreen and 10.2-inch instrument panel.
• Leather seats, adaptive cruise control, and an eight-speaker audio system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
• Safety features include six airbags, automatic emergency braking, and collision warning.

RIDDARA RD6 price and availability

The RIDDARA RD6 price in the UAE starts from AED 140,000 and is AED 170,000 for the top trim. The RD6 is now available at the Dubai showroom.
