The Chevy Aveo sedan was redesigned a year or so ago to sport a facelift. While not exactly beautiful, it gave the sedan a much better look, but GM left the hatchback alone, continuing in its older form. Well, the hatchback finally gets its facelift, and it ain’t pretty.
This is what the latest generation of the all-wheel-drive Subaru Impreza WRX STi is expected to look like, when it is unveiled later this year.
The all-new redesigned 2008 Mazda 6 will debut in Europe first, at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show. Seen here is a teaser photo released by Mazda. Based on the new Ford Mondeo, which incidentally hasn’t been released here either, it is expected to feature similar engine choices to the Ford, including a 3.5-litre V6.
Toyota has released the upmarket version of its Blade hatchback in Japan. The Blade is the hatchback version of the new-generation Corolla that is not even available here yet. On sale as of yesterday, the Blade Master and Blade Master G come with the Aurion’s 3.5-litre V6 as standard equipment.
We picked up a 2008 Nissan Murano for only a two-day test, and apparently we are the first ones to drive this new press vehicle. Now admittedly nothing has changed over the 2007 or even earlier models (that we can see), but props to Nissan for not stuffing us at the bottom of any waiting list. As we are driving around in the new Mitsubishi Galant, we couldn’t help but wonder why Mitsubishi cut some corners when they could’ve easily beaten the overpriced Toyota Camry, which is one of the best-selling cars in the world.
General Motors Middle East is quietly recalling all 2007 Chevrolet Aveo sedans sold in the UAE due to a fault in the fuel line that could cause the car to catch fire in the case of an accident.
So we finally decided to try out the all-new 2007 Mitsubishi Galant. It isn’t much of a looker. Neither does it offer anything fancy. Nor is it fast. What it does have is a much lower base price than the overpriced Camry-Accord duo.
