As supercar sales slow down around the world due to economic issues, Aston Martin went ahead and announced an all-new flagship supercar called the One-77. Though only releasing dark teaser shots of the oddly-named car, simply brightening up the photos digitally reveals a whole lot more.
The 2009 Volkswagen Golf MK6 has already been revealed, but VW will be showing a GTI version of this new model at the 2008 Paris Auto Show. Changes in performance are minimal.
So far, Porsche has only released teaser photos of what is to become the German company’s ugliest vehicle yet. But exceptional Porsche tuners 9ff has already put up a sketch of what their version of the 2009-2010 Panamera will look like, once they get their hands on it.
There are no more surprises left in Renault’s product portfolio for next year. The French company’s GCC plans include the introduction of the Safrane, the Logan, the Symbol and the Megane, along with the mysterious new Megane Coupe. That Megane Coupe has now been exposed, and it isn’t even a coupe.

The upcoming 2008 Paris Auto Show will host the reveal of the 2009 Audi RS6 sedan. Already available as an unloved station wagon, Audi finally figured out that a sedan version of the RS6 will sell better. Seen above is a slightly different version, with black-out trim instead of chrome.
Petrol-electric hybrid cars have caught on the West, thanks to high fuel prices. Mercedes-Benz has just revealed their first ever hybrid model, dubbed the S 400 BlueHYBRID.
So I went to yet another corporate Iftar party, this time hosted by Renault, and while my PR guy was stuffing himself as usual, I noticed in their presentation that the Renault Symbol was going to be launched in Dubai and the GCC sometime next year, along with the Logan. The Symbol would replace the outdated Clio Classic sedan.
The Audi Q7 V12 TDI is going to be launched in Europe soon, and Audi chose to release photos of the new vehicle which were obviously taken in the UAE. Of course, even Audi isn’t dumb enough to release a TDI truck in Dubai at a time when diesel costs twice as much as petrol.
