Volvo’s flagship SUV, the XC90, now has a Polestar-tuned version. The chosen variant is the top-end T8 Twin Engine model which has a supercharged and turbocharged 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder engine working in tandem with an electric motor. In its standard guise, this powertrain is good for a combined output of 400 hp and 640 Nm.
At the Le Mans 24-hour endurance race, Brabus debuted the 850 6.0 Biturbo S63 Cabrio. With some impressive firepower beneath the hood and with an all-black baleful look to brag, the S63 Cabrio is now the world’s most powerful and the quickest 4-seater convertible.
Jaguar first rolled out the svelte F-Type roadster in mid-2013, and since then the leaping cat has steadily bolstered the line-up, adding a coupe derivative, all-wheel-drive versions and extra powertrain choices -– all in keeping with the company’s objective to offer an “F-Type for all tastes” (or, to put it another way, maximise the company’s return on investment in developing and building the car). McLaren Special Operations, the bespoke division of McLaren Automotive, has announced the creation of the MSO Carbon Series LT. Strictly limited to 25 units globally – all already sold – and based on the 675LT Spider, the Carbon Series LT has been produced in response to requests from McLaren customers captivated by the visual carbon fibre bodied McLaren P1 displayed recently at the International Geneva Motor Show.

Renault recently revealed the Grand Scenic, which is a bigger version of their MPV, Scenic. It is available with either 5 seats or 7 seats, while the smaller Scenic makes do with just 5. The design is carried over from the Scenic, inside out. The front fascia flaunts the familiar Renault family face, albeit in a fresher avatar. The rear looks interesting with the boomerang shaped tail lamps and chrome inserts. The whole range comes with 20-inch alloys as standard which increases the ground clearance to 160 mm.
There’s not much more to say about a Rolls-Royce. It’s big. It’s expensive. And this is the most attractive variant yet.

We got a chance to drive these two models at an event in Abu Dhabi recently.
