This odd body-kitted Toyota Land Cruiser was spotted in Dubai last week. Normally it wouldn’t be a news-worthy item, considering it could just be someone’s one-off idea of a custom sports car, but the fact that four were spotted in a convoy of tow-trucks means that something more must be up.
Porsche has announced that they will begin offering a Panamera Turbo Powerkit that increases engine output to 540 hp, 40 horses more than the standard 500 hp model. Other personalization upgrades include a Sport Design Package and the new 20-inch Panamera Sport wheels for the Panamera Turbo and the other Porsche V6 and V8 Panamera models.
BMW claims that their X6 is a “coupe” while it has four doors. While that tidbit was thought up by marketing types, and is completely wrong, BMW still had hit on their hands. The recently-updated 2009 Porsche 911 Carrera can be made be faster by slapping on a kit by TechArt of Germany. The components include a “Racing” exhaust valve and new engine electronics for an increase of “up to” 35 hp.
