A week of sporting excellence will commence at popular cars and coffee stop, CARS Cafe, on Monday, 9th January. Making a guest appearance at the café will be the iconic 1985 Audi Sport Quattro, alongside the RS Q e-tron E2. Meanwhile, Audi’s RSQ e-tron E2 is competing in the 2023 Dakar Rally taking place in neighbouring Saudi Arabia.
A new chapter for motorsports in the Middle East region is about to start as the 2020 edition of the world’s biggest and the most grueling race, the Dakar Rally, is set to be staged in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Flagging off in January 2020, the event will cover 9000 km across the country.
Team X-raid GmbH’s Stéphane Peterhansel entered the record books by taking his 52nd Dakar Rally stage win in all categories and his 19th in a car on the third 182km special stage between La Rioja and Fiambalá in Argentina on Monday.
