Electric Pickups are a new breed that is grabbing a lot of headlines recently. This growing lineup consists of the still-in-development Tesla Cybertruck, its newcomer rival Rivian R1T, new GMC Hummer EV, and Ford F-150 Lightning among several others. Chevrolet, on the other hand, had not been actively taking part in this race, until now. Here is the 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV.
Extending the relationship with Toyota, Subaru brings out their new EV, the Subaru Solterra. This electric crossover is based on the Toyota bZ4X with some changes on the skin to differentiate itself.
Toyota has been one of the most vocal advocates for hybrid vehicles and hydrogen FCEVs. They have also voiced against battery EVs as well. But now the tides have changed, and Toyota has introduced their new EV in its production form. Toyota bZ4X, as it is called comes in a RAV4-sized package and with FWD or AWD options.
Nissan Leaf has been one of the vehicles that pioneered the electric car mass market. Launched almost a decade ago, the Leaf has been synonymous with affordable electric mobility, in the same vein as the Toyota Prius has been to hybrids. But the Leaf was considered to be uninspiring to drive, despite being futuristic. Now though, Nissan lifted the covers off a different version of Leaf, which is nothing like the existing ones.
