Arguably, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class reached its peak back in the 1980s, when it wasn’t even called the E-Class. Comprising of models such as the all-rounder 300E, the handbuilt-by-Porsche 500E and the aftermarket-tuned AMG Hammer among others, the German carmaker’s W124-generation sedan was iconic. Unfortunately, right after this model was discontinued in 1995 after an 11-year run, Mercedes-Benz entered an era of confused designs and cost-cutting measures that didn’t subside until more than a decade later. Mercedes-Benz launches special edition Actros truck in UAE

Mercedes-Benz Trucks MENA, together with Emirates Motor Company (EMC), its authorised distributor in Abu Dhabi, have launched a special edition Actros truck in the UAE, in celebration of the model’s 20th anniversary. The media launch event at Endurance City included a live demonstration of the Actros 3844 S 6×4 tractor-head model.

Mercedes-Maybach S650 Cabriolet launched as trim package

If you think that the Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG Cabriolet is not opulent enough, worry not. Mercedes-Benz has revealed a more luxurious and more exclusive Maybach version of the S-Class Cabriolet. The Mercedes-Maybach S650 Cabriolet debuted at the Los Angeles Auto Show, although unlike the Mercedes-Maybach sedan, this one doesn’t benefit from a long-wheelbase or four doors (which would’ve been cool and unique). Pretty much just a trim package, the exclusive Maybach offering will grace the garages of only 300 customers around the world.
