This dark-orange Opel Corsa OPC has been doing the rounds of local media since the beginning of this year. It is the Nurburgring edition, apparently making it very exclusive. And being a manual, it will be even more of a rare sight here.
It’s obvious that Opel is busy this year as they came up with an updated Insignia OPC. However, clearly overshadowing the vehicle is the new Monza Concept, which is not just a collection of curves, but rather an art to behold. It was unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Opel, who plans to make a full scale entry into the GCC show off their Cascada and the new Insignia at the 2013 Dubai Motor Show alongside the Corsa, Astra, Meriva, ZafiraTourer, the entire OPC line-up and the all new Opel Adam.
The Opel Insignia may very well be one of the best-looking mid-size wagons in the market. But it’s a pity that it is only offered in select GCC markets. No one cares about Opel in the UAE, or even knows whether their cars are still on sale or not. It would seem Opel really is alive and well, and had been offering the Opel Antara small crossover for the past couple of years in their line-up. The model has received a facelift for 2011.
