A new face-lift Peugeot RCZ has been unveiled ahead of its debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. Peugeot claims it now offers consumers more customisable options. The French automaker also gave a preview of the 1.6-litre 260 hp version of the model to be called the RCZ-R.

The second edition of the Peugeot RCZ cup international golf competition took place in February. The sport event, held for more than 2 decades now by Peugeot, is open to golfers of all skill levels. While the competition is being held in several other countries, in UAE, the game is being organized by Peugeot’s local dealers, Swaidan Trading and Omeir Bin Youssef.

Choices for sporting two-door coupes are limited in the GCC market if you’re on a budget. There’s the Hyundai Genesis Coupe that is saddled with badge-perception issues and a dealer reluctant to import manual ones. There’s the Ford Mustang, which is built like a Ford Mustang. Peugeot introduced three all-new models at a pre-launch event for the UAE, held on the occasion of the 2009 Dubai Motor Show. The Peugeot 308 CC convertible, the Peugeot 2008 crossover and the Peugeot RCZ coupe will go on sale in the GCC by the end of the first quarter of 2010.

Two years after showing off the 308 RCZ concept car at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show, Peugeot will present the production Peugeot RCZ coupé at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. Also debuting alongside the RCZ are the RCZ hybrid concept, the 3008 hybrid concept, the all-new 5008 minivan, and low-emission versions of existing models, namely the 207 ’99g’, 107 ‘106g’, 308 ‘120g’, 407 ‘129g’ and 3008 ‘130g.’
