Just days after Hyundai revealed the Kona, a subcompact crossover which slots in between the Creta and Tucson, Kia has revealed their take on the same. Called the Stonic, the new crossover sports a design that fits right into the current Kia lineup. Following the lines of the Nissan Juke, which brought radical designs to the crossover table, both these SUVs are hoping to cash in on the fact that 21% of hatchback users (according to Kia) are looking to upgrade to a small SUV.
Porsche’s boffins at Stuttgart have revealed yet another 911 to sit on top of the already mental 911 Turbo S. Called the 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series, the production numbers of this new variant does justice to its name as it is limited to 500 units.
The Kia Rio is the South Korean carmaker’s sub-compact hatchback offering. It’s not exactly the first car that comes to mind in this category, primarily dominated by the Japanese, but it has some presence in the UAE market (and rocking it in the KSA market) due its decent price-tag. However, the all-new Rio seems to have upped its game, and we recently had a go in it at a media drive event in the UAE.
BMW gave their entry level coupe/convertible, the 2-Series, a refresh which includes a list of minor tweaks. The refresh applies to the whole range of 2-Series cars, starting from the pedestrian base models all the way up to the fire-breathing M2. A new model, M240i M, is also slipped in to form a link between the normal 2-Series and the M2.
