It isn’t every day that a new Toyota Land Cruiser comes out. It still isn’t that day. The last time a new one debuted was in late 2007. Before that, it happened in around 1998, if what our grandpa says is true. Today, we took a look at the 2012 model, a facelifted version of the existing model, at an event in Dubai.

The Nissan Sunny was once a leader in the local compact segment, battling the venerable Toyota Corolla and occasionally even outselling it. But things changed once the impressive Tiida came into the scene, stealing sales from the Sunny and largely relegating it to fleet-vehicle status, having barely changed in more than a decade. Now that Nissan has decided to dust off the Sunny name and bring in a completely revamped model, keep in mind that it is not playing in the same segment any more.
The updated 2012 Toyota Land Cruiser is now available in the UAE. Changes are minor, but they include a new front end, some new off-road features, two new engines and a some changes in trim levels.

It seems Mini wants in on the action, converting the slow-selling Clubman into a car for the working man. And they’ve cleverly named it the Clubvan.
Abu Dhabi Motors, the sole dealer for BMW, Rolls-Royce and Mini in the UAE capital, just opened the world’s largest BMW showroom last week. A VIP party was on February 14 to celebrate the opening of the massive new showroom facility, although the Rolls-Royce section was already opened last year.
BMW has unveiled their latest iteration of the BMW M6. Essentially an M5 with two doors, the M6 will first be released as a convertible, followed by a coupe a bit later.
