Smart EVs Make UAE Debut

Smart, known for its premium, all-electric vehicles, has launched its new models in the UAE through a collaboration with AW Rostamani Group, a veteran in the UAE’s automotive industry.

The launch showcased two highly anticipated models: the smart #1 and the sportier smart #3, each embodying Smart’s focus on “contemporary premium,” “mindful technology,” and “inspirational co-creation.”

These values are apparent in the design and functionality of both vehicles, which bring a blend of sustainability and high-end features. The smart #1 and #3 models are available in three trims: Pro+, Premium, and the top-spec Brabus edition. The Brabus trim for the smart #3 is performance-focused, boasting an impressive 0-100 kph acceleration in just 3.7 seconds.

The smart #1 is designed as an SUV, featuring a spacious, tech-laden interior. Meanwhile, the smart #3 is a sport-utility coupe with a distinct shark-nose design and sporty lines. Both models are available in various colours, with the Brabus trim providing an added level of sophistication, appealing to those looking for a sportier option.

Built on Smart’s collaboration with Mercedes-Benz and Geely, the launch introduces UAE buyers to premium, eco-friendly options that align with the country’s goal of achieving sustainable mobility. Existing Mercedes owners in the UAE have a new opportunity to complement their lineup with a premium all-electric addition from Smart, emphasizing zero-emission driving without compromising performance or design.
