However, at the Geneva International Motor Show – Qatar other models from the brand including the Golf GTI, Amarok, ID. Buzz and T-Roc were also on display including the ID.4 GTX. Unfortunately, there is still no definitive launch date set on the ID range however we can expect to see the ID Buzz before the ID 4 in the Middle East.

Tour d’Excellence of the Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS) reached its grand culmination in Doha, Qatar, after a 34 days and 8000 km drive. The two crews, led by Frank M Rinderknecht, CEO of Rinspeed AG and Rainer Zietlow, owner of Challenge4.de, left Geneva on August 28. The arrival in Doha not only marks the completion of this incredible journey, but also celebrate the upcoming opening of GIMS Qatar automotive festival which will take over the city of Doha and beyond from 5 to 14 October.

Back in 1981, the Dubai Autodrome facility hosted the country’s first ever Grand Prix as part of the nation’s 10th Anniversary. Then Chief of Police, the 28-year-old Dhahi Khalfan Tamin and Major Saeed Khalfan, who was also the Chairman of Al Nasr Motor Sports Club, approached Marin Hone to run a one-off Dubai Grand Prix with global famous drivers including Nigel Mansell, Juan Manuel Fangio, and Stirling Moss, among others. This event stirred great interest in racing enthusiasts and has successfully put Dubai’s name on the region’s history of motorsport.
